This unprecedented philanthropic effort will be an appeal to the entire community. CHUM to partner MUHC campaign

Under the comprehensive Quebec government plan to revitalize university medicine, the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) Foundation is also to raise $300 million to support the redeployment of the MUHC. Montreal’s two university hospital centres have a combined overall target of $600 million.

The MUHC Foundation and the Fondation du CHUM have signed a partnership agreement to work together to solicit Quebec’s largest corporations, with donations to be shared equally between the two foundations. This joint fundraising effort has a target of $150 million – $75 million for the CHUM and $75 million for the MUHC.

This initiative reflects the shared commitment of both foundations to a cause that transcends their individual ambitions: the revitalization of today’s healthcare system for the benefit of future generations.
