The CHUM: A leader in medical training
The CHUM is the largest medical training centre in Quebec. Every year, it welcomes nearly 5,000 students and trainees at college and university levels. It is responsible for training 50 % of Quebec's students in the field of health.
The Université de Montréal Faculty of Medicine, which is affiliated with the university hospital centre, trains nearly half of all the new physicians in the province. These candidates for medical practice receive training of the highest quality. Proof of this lies in the fact that the students from the UdeM Faculty of Medicine are always among the highest-ranking candidates on national medical exams.
