The CHUM today
Le Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) provides general, specialized and ultra-specialized medical care to patients in the immediate Montreal area and from other regions of Quebec as well. It is also a hub for medical teaching in Quebec and operates its own Research Centre. The CHUM mission also includes a significant health promotion component.
The CHUM of the future
The CHUM centre-ville complex will bring the university hospital centre’s resources together at the vast city-blockwhere Hôpital Saint-Luc is currently located. Treatment and services in the new complex will revolve around the patient. The complex will include an ultra-modern research centre and a new teaching and training centre.
