Money Rolls in at MIAS Charity Preview!

January 19, 2010 - On January 14, the Fondation du CHUM took part in the 2010 Montreal International Auto Show (MIAS) Preview Benefit for the fifth year running. Enthusiastically anticipated by hundreds of car lovers, the fundraising activity was held at the Palais des Congrès and generated an impressive $361,119.24…$17,000 more than last year. As usual, the five participating hospital foundations will share the proceeds.

Since its inception, the MIAS Preview Benefit has raised $1.8 million for hospitals in Greater Montreal. This year, the Fondation du CHUM will use the funds to purchase advanced equipment, finance health promotion initiatives and support CHUM research and teaching activities that allow doctors and healthcare professionals to continue to provide world-class care.
