About CardioF<\/div>\n

Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death among women, an unfortunate consequence of women having long been underrepresented in medical research and clinical trials. For the past five years, CardioF has been working to change that reality.

The first Centre of Excellence in Quebec dedicated to women\u2019s cardiovascular health, CardioF was founded in 2021 with a distinctive, integrated approach spanning clinical care, research, education, innovation, and awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with its affiliated satellite centres, the CardioF Centre of Excellence is committed to better understanding, preventing, detecting, treating, and ultimately improving outcomes for cardiovascular disease in women\u2014across every stage of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
