The CHUM Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Marie-Line Beauchamp<\/strong>, Chief Operating Officer of MTY Food Group, as Chair of its Board of Directors. She is filling the shoes of the remarkably dedicated Marc M. Tremblay, who is wrapping up a seven-year term as Chair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A renowned leader<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Marie-Line Beauchamp holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in food science and administration from McGill University. She has over 40 years of experience in senior management positions<\/strong> in food and hospitality, both here and abroad. Her solid experience with Sodexo Group, especially as Executive Vice-President for Canada and Vice-President, Corporate Social Responsibility, a position based in Paris, earned her multiple accolades, such as the Prix Femme d\u2019Affaires du Qu\u00e9bec for large private company leaders in 2006. Driven by her impressive skills as a manager and a leader, she was also President of les R\u00f4tisseries St-Hubert and took her first steps in the world of philanthropy as Executive Director at Leucan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Generosity and dedication<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Marie-Line has drawn on her corporate director certificate to bring her collective and strategic vision<\/strong> to life in board rooms. She has generously given her time to issues surrounding food, a constant in her career, and health, such as by serving as a director for IRCM (Montreal Clinical Research Institute), the Fondation de l\u2019ITHQ (Institut de tourisme et d\u2019h\u00f4tellerie du Qu\u00e9bec) and the Stop Hunger Foundation. In 2022, she joined the CHUM Foundation Board, where her inspiring leadership and interpersonal skills have made an indelible mark. Driven by a profound desire to do even more for the health of Quebecers<\/strong>, Marie-Line is now Chair of the Foundation\u2019s Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
