On November 19th<\/sup>, donors, healthcare professionals, care teams, and patients came together at the Agora Courtois<\/strong> in the CHUM Research Centre to celebrate something simple yet deeply meaningful: expressing gratitude to those who made a difference in their care journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Launched just over six months ago, the Gratitude Movement<\/strong> allows donors to honour someone at the CHUM who had a lasting impact on their experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its launch, the program has inspired hundreds of gifts. This special evening brought together early donors and the staff members they chose to recognize, in a warm and heartfelt atmosphere filled with meaningful conversations, reunions, and moments of connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Gratitude Fuels Philanthropy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The gathering was a powerful reminder of the role philanthropy plays in transforming care. These expressions of gratitude don\u2019t just uplift our teams \u2014they also help fund essential projects, strengthen research and teaching, and improve patient care.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

By bringing together patients, families, and CHUM staff, the evening demonstrated how far philanthropy can go when it is rooted in gratitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This first event sparked a real wave of appreciation within the CHUM\u2014one that will continue to grow thanks to the commitment of our community. And this is only the beginning: the Gratitude Movement has many more inspiring moments ahead.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A heartfelt thank you to all the staff members and volunteers who helped bring the Gratitude Movement to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
