For a decade now, the Direction de l’enseignement et de l’Académie CHUM (DEAC) has been administering a fellowship program backed by funding from the CHUM Foundation and the hospital’s different departments. These fellowships are reserved for physicians in residency, nurses and other health professionals and are designed to attract top scientific talent to the CHUM, developing their expertise to provide the people of Quebec with exceptional precision care. The program is also a great way to support the CHUM’s staffing needs, bringing doctors from over all over the world and building a global network of specialists.
To help address current challenges in healthcare, the DEAC is launching an enhanced funding program. Fellowships can now be funded for other positions, and grants are available to support research training, fast track innovation and much more.
