“Do you remember the moments that shape your life? I will always remember the day I found out I was pregnant. After more than two years of waiting and hoping, it was an overwhelming joy—almost unreal. But I will remember just as clearly the day my doctor said the words no one ever wants to hear: ‘you have cancer,’ just nine weeks after I learned I was going to become a mother for the first time. I was 32 years old, with my whole life ahead of me, and finally given the incredible chance to bring life into the world.
