Diseases are evolving, and needs are becoming increasingly complex. To better prevent, diagnose and treat illness, we now need to rethink the way we approach healthcare.
This is the ambition behind the Act Faster Than Disease campaign: to drive precision health and help shape a form of medicine that is more predictive, preventive, personalized and participatory.
To achieve this, we must focus our collective efforts where needs are most urgent and where precision health can have the greatest impact: on five of the most pressing health challenges of our time, identified as philanthropic priorities: cancer, immunopathology, heart and metabolic diseases, neurosciences and mental health.
Across these five areas—and in many other essential fields—promising projects are ready to move forward with the right support. Through your generosity, you can help bring them to life and, in doing so, change the lives of thousands of people who rely on the CHUM.
The CHUM Foundation also supports many other projects that help advance patient care, research and education.
