The Soirée lumière offers a unique opportunity to discover groundbreaking scientific advances, connect with passionate changemakers, and make a meaningful contribution to the future of research and innovation in women’s heart health.
Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death among women, an unfortunate consequence of women having long been underrepresented in medical research and clinical trials. For the past five years, CardioF has been working to change that reality.
The first Centre of Excellence in Quebec dedicated to women’s cardiovascular health, CardioF was founded in 2021 with a distinctive, integrated approach spanning clinical care, research, education, innovation, and awareness.
Together with its affiliated satellite centres, the CardioF Centre of Excellence is committed to better understanding, preventing, detecting, treating, and ultimately improving outcomes for cardiovascular disease in women—across every stage of life.
