The Grand Banquet de l’extraordinaire returned for its fourth edition on March 20th. This signature event of the CHUM Foundation will raise founds to empower the CHUM to revolutionize healthcare by accelerating its expertise and technological development.

A fusion of sensory and culinary experiences will await the opinion leaders, business decision-makers, artistic personalities, and doctors who have chosen to lend their support to the CHUM.

With your support, the CHUM can fast-track the development of expertise, keep driving medical research and make artificial intelligence a key component in the innovations that let healthcare professionals act faster than disease.

A look back at the 2024 edition

Honouring the professionals who shine a spotlight on the body’s biggest mysteries

The body is much like the ocean floor, with all kinds of secrets tucked away from sight. For the third-ever Grand Banquet de l’extraordinaire, we are celebrating a department that shines a spotlight on the unseen and plumbs the depths of the human body to uncover its mysteries: the radiology and nuclear medicine department. Behind the imaging and the diagnoses are the department’s teams, who do brilliant work.

Local art and fine dining

This popular charity gala will whisk guests away to a radiant world. Networking, touching stories, colourful performances and an innovative fine dining experience custom-designed by five Quebec master chefs all await!

Come and discover a unique menu carefully crafted by Stéphane Modat (Le Clan, Québec City), Émile Tremblay and Sylvain Dervieux (Les Faux Bergers and Buvette gentille, Charlevoix), Fisun Ercan (Bika Farm & Cuisine, Montérégie) and Marc-André Jetté (Hoogan et Beaufort, Montréal).

Each of these chefs has mastered the art of combining the tastes of land and sea, and they’ve joined forces to unite complex flavours and balanced textures in one brilliant menu.

The final touch for this exceptional evening will be a glittering performance by multitalented Quebec artist Gregory Charles.
