On April 24, the CHUM Foundation’s Leaders of Tomorrow Committee presented the very first edition of Entre deux battements at FOIL Gallery.
This evening was more than just an event, it was experience—a suspended moment where art and human stories intersect, inviting guests to pause, feel, listen and reconnect with what truly matters.
In an atmosphere that was both festive and immersive, guests enjoyed a dynamic program featuring music, meaningful exchanges and curated culinary discoveries.
Thanks to the generosity and engagement of attendees, a total of $97,350 was raised in support of care, research and innovation at CHUM.
An immersive experience rooted in real stories
The featured works were moving and thought-provoking. Created from the testimonies of CHUM patients, they articulated that fragile, yet powerful moment between two heartbeats, when everything can change.
Entre deux battements also incorporated an original text by singer-songwriter Cœur de pirate, adding another layer of depth and emotion to the evening.

A very real impact
While the event offered an unconventional experience, its impact is tangible. Funds raised will enable CHUM to continue pushing the boundaries of medicine by supporting care teams, leading-edge research and innovation—benefiting the half a million patients treated each year.
Thank you to our engaged community
The CHUM Foundation extends its sincere thanks to all participants, artists, members of the Leaders of Tomorrow Committee and event partners.
This first edition of Entre deux battements marks the beginning of a truly unique gathering.
