The CHUM Foundation’s Cercle des Grands donateurs was created in June 2022 to bring together the most dedicated of our generous donors, who make annual personal donations of at least $10,000. Driven by a shared desire to give back to their community and help one of North America’s largest hospitals keep offering excellence in healthcare, the Cercle has supported major projects and pushed the care we provide—at the CHUM and across Quebec—to be better every day.

A front-row seat to health research
In fall 2023, Cercle members and their guests were treated to an exclusive tour of the CHUM’s research centre. The centre is usually off-limits to visitors, but our very generous donors got to explore the labs, observe cells with an ultra-high-accuracy microscope, and take a sneak peek behind the curtains of research, escorted by the very professionals who work tirelessly to gain better medical insight and to move healthcare forward.
A hands-on committee
Some of our major donors don’t just support the CHUM financially—in fact, seven of them go the extra mile by sitting on the Cercle committee, whose mission is to actively promote the Cercle and bring in community donations. We’d like to extend a warm thank you to all seven of them:
