After its success in 2023, the concert-exhibition event D’art et d’espoir returns on Sunday, October 6, 2024!
In partnership with the CHUM Foundation for a fourth time, Dr. Frank Schwenter, a CHUM physician specializing in digestive surgery, is pleased to invite you to a benefit evening featuring a harmonious blend of music and artwork.
Dr. Schwenter—a cellist as well as a surgeon—will perform works by Beethoven, Chostakovitch et Rachmaninoff, accompanied by the pianist Claire Ouellet and by one of his former patients, comic book artist Robert Marcel Lepage. As the music unfolds Mr. Lepage, who received treatment for colorectal cancer some years ago, will exhibit drawings he made to illustrate his emotional journey during his battle with the disease.
This event to benefit the Foundation is aimed at raising awareness, prevention and hope. Your presence can change patients’ lives by helping the CHUM act faster than disease.

An official donation receipt will be issued for a portion of the amount spent.
