Marie-Eve Desrosiers and Jean Forcione join the Board of Directors of the CHUM Foundation.
The CHUM Foundation is thrilled to announce that two new members—Jean Forcione and Marie-Eve Desrosiers—have been appointed to its board of directors. Both of these leaders bring with them incredible expertise in their respective fields and will add to the CHUM Foundation’s mission of pushing the boundaries of medicine to act faster than disease.

Marie-Eve Desrosiers
We’d like to extend our warmest congratulations to Marie-Eve Desrosiers, the CHUM’s president and chief operating officer, for her appointment to the CHUM Foundation’s board of directors. With over 20 years of experience in the health care network, 8 of them spent at the CHUM, Marie-Eve is deeply aware of the challenges and issues the hospital faces. As a visionary and impassioned adopter of new innovations, she has successfully executed several large-scale projects, including the Centre d’optimisation des flux réseau (COFR), which won an award for excellence in health care and services accessibility in 2020. Her leadership and ability to forge strategic partnerships make her an invaluably ally for the Foundation and its future.
Jean Forcione
A hearty congratulations is also due to Jean Forcione, who has spent over 35 years in the health care industry, with leadership positions at major organizations like Aventis, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson. Jean will play a key role on our board of directors, drawing on his expertise in general management, marketing and mergers and acquisitions, and his extensive experience and strong commitment to private equity-backed businesses. By sharing his strategic vision and passion for health care innovation with the Foundation, Jean will help us continue to act faster than disease, to the benefit of all CHUM patients.
United to push the boundaries of medicine
We would also like to thank L. Philippe Angers for his four years as a member of the board of directors. He will stay on as a member of our major campaign cabinet, continuing to shape the CHUM Foundation and all it does. He has gone above and beyond to help the Foundation in its mission.
