Dressed to Give: An elegant charity benefit full of hope for a better future

On October 9, 2025, the lavish Tudor Hall at Holt Renfrew Ogilvy was transformed into a site of celebration and caring for the first ever Dressed to Give, a charity benefit on behalf of the CHUM Foundation‘s Guy Lafleur Fund.

The unique charm of Tudor Hall, with its high ceilings, refined mouldings, majestic chandeliers and prestigious and warm decor, made it perfect for hosting such an elegant evening of generosity. 150 attendees came together for an intimate, cozy evening combining fashion and philanthropy.

Organized by the Guy Lafleur Fund’s ambassadors (Martin Lafleur, Angelica Viapiano, Guy Carbonneau, Line Boivin, Dary Laflamme and Marlène Castonguay) this event kicked off the Fund’s ambitious initiative to raise 10 million dollars to advance cancer research.

Their hard work paid off—helping raise $271,000 to support the CHUM’s personalized medicine program in oncology, which tailors cancer treatments to each patient’s unique needs.

A heartfelt thank you

"The CHUM Foundation is fortunate to have such exceptional ambassadors, who have from the very start put their hearts and souls into bringing the Guy Lafleur Fund to life. They've made their vision a reality, driving research and helping build a healthier future." — Pascale Bouchard, President and Chief Executive Officer of the CHUM Foundation

"Seeing our community step up and mobilize for a cause that is so near and dear to us was immensely touching. The event showed that Guy Lafleur's memory and values continue to inspire and bring people together." — The ambassadors of the Guy Lafleur Fund

A moving and inspiring evening

The Dressed to Give benefit was hosted by Michel Lacroix and featured an exclusive fashion show of Holt Renfrew Ogilvy’s fall/winter trends. Guy Carbonneau, Virginie Coossa, Dr. Antoine Desilets (head of the Fund-supported project), Véronique Black, Pascale Bourbeau and Angelica Viapiano were all tremendous sports, strutting their stuff on the runway as model for a day. An exclusive auction, featuring a generous contribution from Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, rounded out the event. Attendees were also moved by the presence of Lise Lafleur, wife of the legendary Guy Lafleur.

The Guy Lafleur Fund is continuing to keep alive the legacy of the great man who inspired it by supporting research, innovation and hope.
