Second edition of the CHUM Foundation’s Summer Classic Golfing & Cycling
Yesterday, the beautiful Le Mirage Golf Club in Terrebonne played host to the second edition of the CHUM Foundation’s signature event, The Summer Golf and Cycling Classic.
A generous community of golfers and cyclists came together to enjoy the outdoors, get active, network and give back to the community.

“Once more, this incredible turnout shows that together, we can accomplish amazing things,” says Pascale Bouchard, President and Chief Executive Officer of the CHUM Foundation. “Thank you for coming out on such a beautiful summer day to get a workout, network, give back and have a direct impact on the health of patients.”
A hope-filled day
Not a dry eye was found when CHUM patient Michel Roy Gauthier shared his inspiring story. Michel, who is being treated for a metastatic prostate cancer, said :
“After every treatment session, I come out of the CHUM feeling a bit more hopeful. I am taking part in a study because I want to live to be 100—and I also want to help everyone who will come after me.”
He also reminded attendees of the importance of believing in science and in the possibility of developing, improving and advancing science.
