“I had the opportunity to get involved with the CHUM Foundation. That’s the hospital where my dad was treated and passed away in 2011, so it was really important to me to be able to give back to the people who were such a major part of my life for the four months that I was with my dad during treatment and at the end of his life. I am a firm believer in paying things forward, and it was a huge honour to be there and to do my best to help out that day. Truly a day I’ll never forget. I hope the money we raised will keep on helping CHUM patients and their families.”
