The CHUM Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of three new members to its board of directors. These key influencers in the business world will join forces with currently serving board members in their commitment to putting the welfare of CHUM patients at the heart of everything they do.
Marie-Line Beauchamp is the chief operating officer of MTY Group’s casual dining restaurant division. She is responsible for the overall business management of more than 400 restaurants in every area, including operations, human resources, marketing, strategy, franchise development and food services. Her drive, strategic vision and knowledge of the philanthropic community will be great assets to the Foundation
Beverly Salomon is a pharmacist-owner affiliated with Jean Coutu Group. As a businesswoman with an inspiring story, she is greatly invested in supporting the next generations and setting them up for future success. Beverly’s leadership and empathy have earned her a finalist spot for the Femmes d’affaires du Québec award in the “Leader d’influence – Entreprise Privée” [Influential leader – Private business] category. In addition to being an outstanding business manager, she has made it her duty to make a difference from a professional, social and cultural standpoint. Her goal of creating a more inclusive society is sure to resonate with the Foundation’s board of directors.
M. Robert Desbiens
Robert Desbiens is a corporate Vice-president at Cofomo. He has had an extremely fruitful career and was, until very recently, the vice-president of corporate development at Telus Health. His visionary spirit, entrepreneurial acumen and determination have always served him well in convincing corporate, institutional and governmental authorities of the importance of carrying out the projects he believes in.
