The CHUM Foundation is pleased to welcome Dr. Didier Jutras-Aswad, Dr. Pascale Audet, Philippe Cloutier and Emmanuel Grondin to its board of directors. Already highly invested in their professional communities, these exemplary individuals are joining the Foundation to help boost the innovative, promising ideas of the CHUM and its research centre.
Fresh faces on the board of directors
Dr. Didier Jutras-Aswad
Dr. Didier Jutras-Aswad is a psychiatrist specialized in addiction psychiatry, a researcher at the CHUM Research Centre and an associate professor at Université de Montréal.
He is also the recipient of several fellowships and serves as principal investigator on several clinical trials on drug addiction and associated disorders. He is extremely involved in research and development of new interventions for drug addiction and its related comorbidities. Dr. Jutras‑Aswad and the Foundation share the core value of putting patients first—the bedrock for what is sure to be a productive partnership.
Dr. Pascale Audet
Dr. Pascale Audet has been a radiologist at the CHUM for nearly 25 years. Throughout her career, she has developed a deep understanding of the field, specializing in pelvic, abdominal, hepatobiliary, colorectal and urologic oncology imaging. She also has significant experience in healthcare administration and with process improvement and risk management in hospital settings. Her extensive knowledge of hospital settings, specifically the CHUM, will make her an invaluable member of the Foundation’s board of directors.
Philippe Cloutier
Philippe Cloutier is executive vice president of finance at Novacap, a leader in private equity. A veteran in management, he is a champion of positive leadership and brings a wide range of skills and expertise to the boardroom table. He’s especially eager about our efforts to spread the word about the CHUM and its research centre far and wide.
Emmanuel Grondin
Emmanuel Grondin is a partner at the Norton Rose Fulbright law firm. He practices corporate and commercial law, with extensive experience in large-scale mergers and acquisitions. Outside of work, he joined the Cercle des grands donateurs of the CHUM Foundation last year and is getting involved again by becoming a board member.
United to push the boundaries of medicine
