What is "Pack Your Bags 2025"?

The CHUM Travel Lottery – Pack Your Bags (formerly known as the CHUM – Groupe Voyages) takes place annually in support of the Foundation of the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal and its patients from all over the province. It’s a unique opportunity to make your dream trip come true while giving the CHUM teams the resources to act faster than the disease. Because disease waits for no one.

The CHUM lottery is here! It’s time to get your ticket for the 2025 raffle. Enter for a chance to win 36 travel vouchers worth $2,500, $5,000, $7,500 or, NEW IN 2025, a grand prize of $10 000 for the destination of your choice or 80% of the travel voucher in cash.

Get your prize draw ticket through a payroll deduction of just $6 per paycheque for 20 consecutive pay periods from May 2, 2024, to January 23, 2025 (inclusive). This way, you can reserve your ticket each year and provide the Foundation with a stable source of funding.

A valuable travel raffle

One draw a week, every Wednesday, from May 7 to December 17, 2025, for a total of $130,000 in travel vouchers.

Winners can elect to receive a sum of money equivalent to 80% of the travel voucher’s value.
Travel vouchers are valid for one year from the date of the prize draw.

Did you know you can win more than one prize a year from the CHUM — Groupe Voyages? If your ticket is chosen, it will be put back in the drum and remain eligible for other prize drawings.

The impact of participating at the Pack Your Bags lottery.

All profits from the Pack Your Bags raffle go to the CHUM Foundation. Since 2016, more than $2 million has been raised for the thousands of people who put their health in the CHUM’s hands each year.

Thanks to the CHUM – Travel Group 2024 (last year’s edition), a total of $354,840 was raised. With traditional medicine reaching its limits in many fields, the future is moving toward personalized medicine to care for and heal patients whose lives have been upended by disease.

The profits of this raffle will help the CHUM’s medical and research team go even further, develop new treatment options and boost their technological development and expertise to stay a step ahead of disease.

Frequently asked questions

I don’t remember if I’m signed up for auto-renewal. What do I do?

Send us an email at evenement@fondationduchum.com or give us a call at 514-890-8365. Our team will be happy to verify your payment status.

Which payment methods are accepted?

You can pay for the prize draw ticket by credit card or by cheque (made out to the CHUM Foundation with “with Pack Your Bags 2025” in the memo line). CHUM and CRCHUM employees can enter through a payroll deduction (just $6,25 per paycheque for 20 consecutive pay periods, from May 8, 2025, to January 23, 2025, inclusive).

My transaction was approved, but I didn’t receive my prize draw ticket. Is this normal?

Yes. Your tickets will be mailed to you at the address indicated in the purchase form before the first draw, which will take place on May 7, 2025. Depending on Canada Post delivery times, you may receive your ticket after the first draw. If that happens, don’t worry! Your entry will count for all draws, including the first one. Keep an eye on your mailbox!

When are the prizes drawn?

The prize draws will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the CHUM Foundation (465 McGill Street, 8th Floor, Montréal) on the following dates:

Where can I find the draw results for the CHUM — Groupe Voyages 2024?

The winners will be announced every week on this page and on our Instagram account from May 7 to December 17, 2025, and on our Facebook page once a month.

Can I use the travel voucher anywhere in the world?

Yes, the travel vouchers can be used anywhere in the world. The possibilities are endless: explore the wonders of Europe or lounge in paradise on the beaches of southern Thailand. You can also elect to receive a sum of money equivalent to 80% of the value of the travel voucher you won.

Will I receive a tax receipt when I purchase a ticket?

No, as the purchase is an entry in a raffle and not a donation.

What are my chances of winning?

The Foundation issues 3,500 tickets. Entrants are eligible for the 36 travel voucher draws. You can also win more than once; the winning ticket is put back in the drum after each draw. Some entrants in the past have won multiple times in the same year!
