The very first edition of the Golf Tournament under the honorary chairmanship of Jonathan Drouin for the benefit of the Fondation du Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) took place on Thursday, September 6th, at the Mirage Golf Club. Thanks to the generosity of participants and partners, more than $ 301,775 has been raised to offer the best of health to patients!
Gathered on the green for the cause!
This event reflects, once again, the mobilization of the community towards this hospital, a true emblem of health in Quebec. Health professionals, businesspeople and Montreal Canadiens players were all present to support the research, innovation and teaching that make CHUM a state-of-the-art hospital. The support of the members of the organizing committee chaired by Mario Charpentier, managing partner at BCF Business Law, contributed significantly to the success of this tournament.
“This year, the Fondation is celebrating its 20th anniversary. We celebrate the progress made and the quality of care offered at the CHUM. We are grateful to be surrounded by people of heart who accompany us in the accomplishment of our mission. A sincere thank you to Jonathan Drouin and all the participants, donors, members of the organizing committee, partners and volunteers for this memorable day! – Julie Chaurette, CPA, CA, ASC, President and CEO of the Fondation du CHUM.
A momentum that continues!
The Foundation is honored to have the involvement of Jonathan Drouin, # 92 of the Montreal Canadiens, as ambassador for almost a year now. In addition to its commitment of half a million dollars over ten years, the player is committed to actively participate in the success of fundraising activities and to spread the word to the community.
“Joining the Foundation team, one of my goals was to raise awareness of the importance of CHUM’s role in our society. It is through activities like this that strong bonds are created to benefit patients. – Jonathan Drouin, Ambassador of the Fondation du CHUM and Honorary President of the Tournament.
