“I give back so I can make a difference in my own way. If I hadn’t been a CHUM patient, I wouldn’t know how fundraisers really work. Event volunteers give their time to contribute in their own fashion and offer the best to CHUM patients. Getting involved means growing, developing a sense of belonging, achieving personal fulfilment and being part of a personal experience. Our team is dynamic and lets us know what’s really going on with an event. If it weren’t a matter of physical distance, I would attend every fundraiser. CHUM is doing a magnificent job! Being a volunteer is simple: patients always smile when they see you.”
