BNP Paribas will match donations from its employees. The funds gathered will fund a project that is one of the CRCHUM’s highest priorities for research in the fight we are waging against COVID-19: the Québec COVID-19 Biobank.
This biobank will collect, store and share samples and patient data with scientific teams working on COVID-19. In Québec, the biobank will also support and stimulate research efforts by all research institutions to discover and develop new biomarkers of the disease and its progression, as well as medications and vaccines. The biobank will also foster the development of new technologies required for the analysis of large databases to gain a better understanding of, among other things, COVID-19. Lastly, the biobank will stimulate research into precision medicine at a scale never before seen in Québec.
In this unprecedented urgency for action, BNP Paribas and La Fondation du CHUM are asking all BNP Paribas employees to help.
