Play soccer to beat cancer!
The cancer surgeons at the Centre intégré de cancérologie du CHUM (CICC) are teaming up with Fondation Virage and the CHUM Foundation for the second year in a row of the “Play soccer to beat cancer!” fundraiser.
On Saturday, April 27, 10 teams will meet at UQAM to duke it out in a friendly soccer tournament to raise funds for the CICC.
The tournament will kick off at 10:15 a.m., and the grand finale will follow at 4:15 p.m. Get yourself a front-row seat so you can support the two final teams and cheer on the victor at the medal ceremony. From 3:00–4:00 p.m., families will get to set their little ones loose to burn off energy on a dedicated soccer field. Join us for a family‑friendly day of sport and mutual support.
Where will my donation go?
The “Play soccer to beat cancer!” tournament is raising funds to ensure that the CHUM Research Centre’s labs can keep advancing cancer research and that Fondation Virage can support cancer patients.
The CHUM community’s initiatives and the generous donors who support them are the driving force that pushes the CHUM’s teams to keep pioneering, making major medical breakthroughs and offering cutting-edge care.
