The first ever Défi STAT concluded on September 28 with a beautiful evening at the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT).
This fundraising initiative, organized by the CHUM Foundation’s Leaders of Tomorrow Committee, took the form of a three-week athletic challenge that had hundreds of participants pushing their limits for the CHUM.
A successful first year
It was a fabulous charity event that collected a grand total of $105,000—an extremely successful first edition!
With a mid-challenge event and a wrap-up party, the Défi STAT inspired numerous young professionals of Quebec to join in to support the CHUM’s patients.

The Foundation would like to thank the young philanthropists who sprang into motion and dedicated themselves to the cause. Their initiatives will have a real impact on the future of health for current and future generations.
